Nigerian international, Peter Utaka of OB Odense is really getting stronger with his goals haul and he wants to do more to earn himself a top scorer’s record, by Kester Buzugbe.
Peter told africansportsdigest.com after scoring the equalizer on Saturday in their 1-1 draw against Copenhagen in the Danish premiership league that his desire is to be on top of the scorer’s chat both in Europa and the local league in Denmark.
He scored in the 45th minute to bring his team to level terms with Copenhagen after Vingard M. had netted a penalty in the 38th minute to take the lead though briefly.
“I am happy with the way things are going on here, I want to give my best at all times and ensure that my club is well placed at the end of the season,” he said.
“I do want to become the top scorer both in Europe and in the Danish premier league. I have to work hard which I am ready to. My ambition is just to be the best by God’s grace.”
Peter has cracked home some quality goals for OB this season and is still rearing for more. He has scored seven goals so far which include four in the EUFA European league and three in the Danish Superliga.
