Eaglets Rely On Wisdom Against Honduras

Golden Eaglets Coach, John Obu will not want to comment on their opponents’ strength rather he is concentrating on psyching up his players saying that when they are in full throttle and there is no way stopping the team.

“These are young players, who do not play much of association football like their colleagues from other countries, who are playing for top teams in Europe. I mean the clubs’ youth sides. I don’t want them to accord their opponents much respect as in the first match,” Obu told africansportsdigest.com this morning adding that they want to win today’s game.

We’ve entered the decisive time. We need a win to stay in contention for the ticket, and the players have been made to know this. Fortunately for us, we’ll know the result of the other game before we enter the field. I don’t really want to talk much about the match.

The boys were not tactically disciplined in the first match which almost ruined us if not for the second half uprising, the credit should go to them.”

Honduras will be a hard nut; this Obu knows judging from their opening game against Argentina, which the later managed to win by a lone goal. But he has assured that his team will be more focus on this match.
