The New Zealand and Costa Rican Coaches have applauded FIFA for introducing the Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRI test at the on going FIFA U-17 World Cup saying that it has brought sanity into the competition, thus the organizers deserve kudos
The duo, Stephen Cain, the coach of New Zealand and Juan Samuels, his Costa Rica counterpart made the observation in separate interview conducted by Africansportsdigest.com at the press centre in Enugu where Group D matches are being played.
Cain stated that it was the best thing to happen to the youth football around the world although he knows next to nothing about the concept.
“The concept is very good for Youth Football in the World, although I know very little about the concept; I am i8n total support of it. It has ensured that all teams have a level playing field.
“With this very concept I am of the opinion that the best team will be crowned the champions at the end of the competition in Abuja that’s what am targeting,” He added.
Samuels quipped: “I agree with the MRI procedure. I am in favour of the FIFA’s procedure for the MRI test. I have participated in two youth World Cups; one with men and the one with women. This is my third World Cup and I have had the opportunity to
