Enyimba Go For Broke Against Petroloese

Enyimba of Aba are out to dismantle Angolan side, Acad Petroloese when both teams square up this weekend in Aba during the Orange CAF Champions League round of 16 finals billed for Enyimba Stadium.

The Nigerian side,  which are in top contention for the Premier League Cup in Nigeria according to their coach Okey Emordi will not give the visitors a breathing space as they want to employ their weapon of mass destruction commonly called ‘Ogbunigwe’ in the local parlance to send the Angolans out of the competition.

“Our game against Angola is enormous, but we’ve a task to fulfill and this must be pursued vigorously,” says Emordi in an interview with Africansportsdigest.com, because Enyimba is going into the game with a huge disadvantage having lost in Angola 2-0.

He quips: “What I mean by deploying ogbunigwe is a mass attacking formation because all we need are goals to change the tide to our favour. We shall set them on fire with our human arsenal and tactical variables. This is a task that must be done.”

Emordi, who added that the first leg was an eye opener to his team continues: “It’s a collective revenge against Angola, as we’ve not forgotten how they forced Nigeria to a draw in Kano in 2005, thus stopping the Eagles from going for the 2006 World Cup.”

The centre referee for the match is Chaibou Ibrahim, while his assistants are Tinni Tando, Anduoul Salam and Henry Ogunkolade serves as reserved referee.
