William Gallas will not mind taking a pay cut as he is almost jumping into Tottenham’s boat , two months after leaving Spurs’ fierce north London rival Arsenal.British newspapers agree that Gallas is ready to take a pay cut and that the former Arsenal captain will have a medical examination on Friday.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has spoken of his interest in the 32-year-old Gallas, who left Arsenal when his contract expired at the end of last season.
Gallas would provide cover for the injury-prone Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate in central defense. The France international would become only the sixth player to join Spurs after also playing for Arsenal.
